Everything comes to an end sometime. WhatsApp is ending its services on the following devices in the near future:
31 December 2019
- All Windows phones.
1 February 2020
- iPhones running iOS 8 and earlier;
- Android users running version 2.3.7 and older.
Creating Accounts
WhatsApp also confirmed that all devices mentioned above will not be able to create new WhatsApp accounts or re-verify existing accounts after the cut-off dates.
