techTography does not knowingly obtain personal information or market services and/or products to children under the age of eighteen (18) years. Google Analytics uses web beacons which is electronic images, also known as single pixel gifs, and are used together with cookies to compose aggregated stats to analyse how techTography’s Website is used.

techTography enabled the IP anonymisation extension using Google Analytics. This means that Google abbreviates and anonymises your IP address prior to transferring it. This is done especially for visitors from EU/EEA member states.

Google Analytics also has the option to deactivate the gathering of your information. The Google Tag Manager (GTM) is used to manage HTML tags and JavaScript used for analytics and tracking on websites. A tag is a code element, among other things, that is used to calculate traffic and measure visitor behaviour. It is used to grasp the effect of social channels and online advertising, to set up remarketing towards specific target groups, as well as to test and optimise websites. GTM makes our life easier to manage and integrate our tags. We use GTM on https://techtography.co.za to use Google Analytics and will in the future use Facebook Conversion Pixels and Twitter tailored audience. Google reCAPTCHA

This Website uses Google reCAPTCHA. It is used to block or reduce SPAM on https://techtography.co.za to keep the Website free from bots and other machines trying to access it. Also, it is done to protect submissions to forms (used for registering, commenting etc.) on this Website, made by you.

We want to do all in our power make sure our Website is free of spammers, machines and bots. We want to make sure that features, including but not limited to registering and commenting, on this Website is not (ab)used by these machines and spam bots. It is used to check whether requests are done by a person and if so, grant the request.

Your Account with Us

To change or review any information in your account with us, or if you would like to terminate your account, you can:

When the request to have your account terminated is received, techTography will deactivate or delete your account as well as other information linked to you, except for information that has to be kept as instructed by law. techTography will retain the aforementioned information on its server for a minimum of one (1) year. The reason for preserving information as instructed by law, is to prevent fraud, assist with investigations if necessary, enforce the Terms & Conditions, troubleshoot problems and or to, as mentioned previously, comply with specific legal requirements.

Opt-out of marketing through email: To unsubscribe from any marketing emails from techTography at any time, you can click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails we send, or you can contact us on accounts@techtography.online and techTography will remove you from the marketing email list. By removing you from our marketing email list, you will, however, remain on our administration email list to keep you updated with any administration related emails for example when this Privacy Policy or our Terms & Conditions changes, as well as matters related to your account and any other administration related matters.

Aggregated Statistics

techTography may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its Website. We may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, techTography does not disclose your personally-identifying information.

Breach of Data

Do-Not-Track Features

The majority of web browsers, mobile applications and mobile operating systems have a Do-Not-Track (DNT) setting or feature that can be activated to notify your privacy preferences to not have your online browsing activities collected and monitored.
